Our Story
Eshemuta Remote Services Inc. (ERSI) was formed in 2004, and has sub-contracted to the construction/civil engineering industries on a variety of projects as diverse in scope as in environment. ERSI provides survey services for Roads/Bridges, Pipelines, Deep Sea Ports, Open Pit Mining, Heavy Civil Industrial Sites, Environmental Remediation, Commercial/Public Buildings, Urban Renewal Projects and will perform these services in some of the most difficult and challenging climatic conditions.

We also provide 3D modeling, volumetric calculations, CAD and data management services. ERSI is led by two principals, Caroline Brisebois and Jean Claude Bourget and both have completed technical courses directly related to surveying. Ms. Brisebois and Mr. Bourget have successfully and safely completed dozens of construction projects for clients in Yukon and Northern BC for nearly 30 years.

Current (2019 - now)
Eshemuta has been selected through a competitive process by Newcrest Red Chris joint venture to provide construction surveying services at their Red Chris mine project in the Golden Triangle of Northwestern British Columbia. Services provided support their growing operations through collaboration and consultation and we look forward to their continued success.
EAGLE GOLD PROJECT
VICTORIA GOLD CORP.
Mayo District, Central Yukon
2017 - 2019
Working for the prime civil contractor, this project involved survey construction layout and as-built surveys of all major earthwork components such as Heap Leach Pad and Embankment, Processing Plant Pad, Crusher Pads, Event Pond and site roadway development.
BRUCEJACK MINE DEVELOPMENT
Valley of the Kings, Stewart District, BC
October 2016 - June 2017 / 2019
Working directly under the Pretium Construction Management Team, Eshemuta provided a wide range of construction surveying services to both Surface and Underground Developments including technical constructions layout and QA/QC for all major components of the mine.
STEWART WORLD PORT
Stewart, BC
December 2014 - June 2015
This project involved pile driving in a marine environment, pile cap line and grade, placement of structural steel, development of staff housing, development of laydowns, quality control measurements and drafting of post construction detailed measurements. Detailed site specific surveys to support the ongoing permitting process with regard to port development.
BISH FOREST SERVICE ROAD RECONSTURCTION
Kitimat LNG
September 2012 - December 2014
This project involved the construction of a 12 km road through rugged west coast terrain, the development of rock quarries and waste soil disposal sites, initial slope staking of alignment and re-staking following multiple design revisions. Other services included original ground topographic surveys for quantity measurements, layout of drainage structures, drilling and blasting and soil anchor wall.
TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY
Village Mayo, Yukon
September 2012
This project involved the detailed topographic survey of all the municipal infrastructure of the town of Mayo Yukon, which included establishing control, topographical measurements including water, sewer and storm drainage structures, roadways, properties, electrical infrastructure, highway access, data processing and drafting of all collected data.
WOLVERINE MINE DAM RAISE
Watson Lake, Yukon
June 2012 - September 2012
This project involved the technical construction layout of the final dam raise at the Wolverine mine site in south east Yukon Territory, development of borrow sources, development of waste disposal storage facilities, general staking of lines and grades of embankments, survey data archiving and data management.
GLADMAN POINT DEW LINE REMEDIATION
King William Island, Nunavut
June 2004 - September 2005
This project involved the remediation of a former DEW line radar station in Canada’s arctic, one of the harshest environments on earth. Survey tasks included development of on-site borrow sources and development of land treatment facilities. Excavation of hydro-carbon contaminated soil, re-grading of buried contaminated debris, establishment of baseline monitoring instrumentation.
